Instructional Design &
Curriculum Development

My approach to instructional design and curriculum development is grounded in the view that students learn best in an environment that is student-centered and where they are actively engaged in learning. Students must believe that their voices and needs are heard. Respect for diversity and inclusion are a key foundation for student success.

I also develop instructional content and assessments that intentionally align with measurable and attainable competency objectives. Coupled with
interactive and technologically engaging learning strategies, my goal is to enable students to build core subject skills, acquire key materials, and grow critical thinking.

The work samples below illustrate both my Instructional Design and Curriculum Development skills.

My work as an INSTRUCTIONAL DESIGNER focuses on designing frameworks and delivery processes for learning materials. In essence, I create learning environments.

I have experience collaborating with large and small design teams using various design models, including Addie, Agile, and Sam, from initial project brainstorming through storyboarding, to final implementation and assessment. I use major authoring software such as Captivate and Articulate, and design tools like Casmtasia, Powerpoint, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and Canva. I am also experienced using a various LMS platforms.

Curriculum Development

As a Curriculum Developer, my focus is on what people learn, on creating educational content.

I develop engaging, interactive, and original content that facilitates knowledge acquisition, skill building, and critical thinking. I use a variety of strategies including simulations, knowledge checks, project-based learning, and multimedia learning content.
