Instructional Design &
Curriculum Development

My approach to instructional design and curriculum development is grounded in the view that students learn best in an environment that is student-centered and where they are actively engaged in learning. Students must believe that their voices and needs are heard. Respect for diversity and inclusion are a key foundation for student success.

I also develop instructional content and assessments that intentionally align with measurable and attainable competency objectives. Coupled with interactive and technologically engaging learning strategies, my goal is to enable students to build core subject skills, acquire key materials, and grow critical thinking.

Instructional Design

My work as an Instructional Designer focuses on developing effective frameworks and delivery strategies for engaging, accessible learning materials.

I have experience collaborating with both large and small design teams throughout the full instructional design lifecycle—from initial concept development and needs analysis through storyboarding, development, implementation, and assessment. I am experienced with a range of instructional design methodologies, including ADDIE, Agile, and SAM, and adapt these approaches to meet project goals and learner needs.

My technical expertise includes leading authoring tools such as Adobe Captivate and Articulate, as well as multimedia and design applications including Camtasia, PowerPoint, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere Pro, and Canva. I also have experience working with a variety of Learning Management Systems (LMS) to organize, deliver, manage, and evaluate instructional content.

Curriculum Development

As a Curriculum Developer, my work focuses on determining what learners need to know and be able to do and translating those needs into purposeful, effective educational content.

I develop engaging, interactive, and original learning experiences that promote knowledge acquisition, skill development, application, and critical thinking. My approach incorporates a variety of evidence-based instructional strategies, including simulations, knowledge checks, project-based learning, scenario-based activities, and multimedia content, to support diverse learning objectives and encourage active learner participation.
